Q: How did the tool/equipment function as far as saving you time?

A: The long times between charges reduced the downtime when charging the battery and not having to continuously move the light to shine on the work area certainly saved us some time.

Q: How has using this tool impacted your shop’s profitability?

A: Regardless of how well-lit a shop environment is, there’s always a need for shop lights. One light is not enough but this headlamp really comes close to covering most of the light source that I needed. Not having to move, readjust or replace the light for another application saves time. Time savings means efficiency and efficiency means profitability.

Q: What kind of setup was involved before using the product?

A: There’s no setup to speak of. Just remove the slim slip that protects the battery from discharging during shipping and display and you’re ready to shine a light on any subject.

Q: How was its packaging? Did it come with any accessories?

A: The packaging was good. A magnetic charging cable and a tether were included with the light.

Q: Was there a manual included? If so, did you use the manual, and was the manual easy to understand?

A: A manual was included and was easy to understand.

Q: What features did you like?

A: I love how comfortable the head attachment is, how bright the light is, and the ability to move the light beam. I also loved the magnetic charging cable.

Q: What types of jobs/repairs did you use this tool for? Please provide a few specific examples.

A:  I used this light primarily for visual inspections needed when diagnosing body and chassis electrical concerns.

Q: How does this tool compare to other tools you’ve used like it?

A: This is very small and lightweight relative to the light that it produces. Other headlamps were not as bright. The magnetic base is unique with headlamps and it is certainly appreciated. I like the adjustable brightness and magnetic charging cable connection. I also feel that this head attachment is more comfortable than other headlamps that I’ve used.

Q: Is there any way you could think to improve or add to this tool?

A: I’d love it if the light had a swivel. Not that you’d need it when used as a headlamp but if it had a swivel, it would be more versatile for hand and general shop lighting use.

Also, I hope that the elastic band will last but it looks like it is made out of very nice material so I think that it will. I also wonder about the rubber strap that holds the light. I think the light will outlast the rubber strap so hopefully, replacement rubber straps will be available for a long time.

Q: On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate this tool overall? Why?

A: I’m rating this a 10. I love the features mentioned throughout this review, but the light feels very solid yet lightweight and sexy. I really like this light.
