• Stertil-Koni and Vehicle Service Group (VSG) licensing agreements from 2013 now extend to Canada

    In 2013, the two companies had publicly agreed to license patented heavy duty vehicle lift technology to each other.

    Stertil-Koni USA announced that concurrent with the award of Canadian patent 2,567,386 (“the ‘386 Patent”) to its parent company, Stertil B.V., on March 17, 2015 -- which is directed to lifts for motor vehicles -- the licensing agreement previously announced on March 26, 2013 between lift manufacturers Stertil-Koni USA Inc. and Vehicle Service Group (VSG) now extends to Canada.

    In 2013, the two companies had publicly agreed to license patented heavy duty vehicle lift technology to each other. The mutual licensing agreements resolved patent infringement lawsuits the companies filed against each other in 2012.
