Delphi Product & Service Solutions(DPSS) will lead two technician-focused training seminars at the Mobile Air Conditioning Society (MACS) 2013 Training Event & Trade Show on Feb. 7, 2013 from 8:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and again in afternoon sessions starting at 1 p.m. The show will be at the Caribe Royale All-Suite Hotel & Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. DPSS will also highlight its heating and cooling product portfolio Feb. 7 to9, in Booth #351.
The "R-1234yf Design and Service Considerations" seminar (8:15 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.) will cover R-1234yf system component designs and service related issues. Topics include compressor lubricant qualification, retrofit concerns between R-134a and R-1234yf and EPA rulings on retrofitting, evaporator design and service replacement, as well as the chemistry and stability of R-1234yf working fluids.
The "Up and Coming Compressor Technologies" seminar (9:45 a.m to 11:30 a.m.) will provide technicians a better understanding of new compressor technologies. It will cover how new compressors operate, and how service of the new compressors may differ from those technicians are currently familiar with.
