AAPEX 2012 Report: Caliper press reduces mistakes during brake jobs

Dec. 10, 2012
Lang Tools developed an easy to use caliper press that prevents damaging calipers when pushing in the piston.

Max Knoell, Vice President of Marketing and Product Management at Lang Tools, offers tips on how to use the 4-in-1 Brake Caliper Press, No. 279. Knoll gives tips on how to use the tool in the place of a brake pad and screwdriver. The tool works on single, dual, quads and floating caliper pistons, simplifying the process of compressing the piston without any chance of damaging the component. Craig Truglia, assistant editor of Professional Tool and Equipment News, holds the interview at the 2012 AAPEX convention.
