Auto Updater automatically updates, eliminating manual updates.

Mitchell 1 announced that the latest release of its Manager SE shop management system, version 6.5, includes the new Mitchell 1 Auto Updater, a built-in feature that automatically updates the software and eliminates the need for shops to perform manual updates. With Auto Updater, all software updates, patches and enhancements are delivered automatically, saving time for users and ensuring that shops always have access to the latest features without having to run a DVD installation.

In addition to the Auto Updater, the latest version of Manager SE also includes several enhancements that improve functionality, performance and reporting. The updated reports include coupon utilization, customer follow-up, balance-due statements and cash receipts by payment type, in addition to technician worksheets.

“The new Auto Updater greatly improves workflow for shops. By automating the update process, we have eliminated the need for manual updates and can also ensure that our customers are using the very latest version of their shop management software, without any effort on their part,” said Ben Johnson, director of product management, Mitchell 1. “Several of the enhancements in version 6.5 originated as customer suggestions gathered from face-to-face meetings and input from the online community of Manager SE users. We’re pleased to deliver so many time-saving enhancements requested by shops to help them be more efficient.”
