The change culminates a year-long initiative to unify the company's Quality Trailer Products, Century Wheel & Rim, and Rockwell American brands under a single identity. The company’s legal name and structure will not change, nor has there been a change in ownership, management, or locations. The new web site address is www.rockwellamerican.com.
"The Rockwell American name has long been associated with quality, reliability, and service, a reputation we've maintained since acquiring Rockwell American Manufacturing in 2005," said Chris Dietemann, president.
Over the years, the company has significantly broadened its line of manufactured and distributed trailer components through acquisitions, rigorous product development, and long-term supplier relationships. "This decision reinforces our position as an integrated supplier to trailer builders and the trailer aftermarket," Dietemann said.
In addition to stocking trailer parts through a wholly owned national sales and distribution network, Rockwell American manufactures and markets wheels, axles, fenders, brake components, leaf springs, and other components for light, medium, and heavy duty commercial trailers.
Based in Azle, Texas, Rockwell American is a division of Polar Corporation, North America's largest manufacturer of aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel tank trailers.
