The seminar, held at AAPEX 2013, discussed the different types of counterfeit scan tools, how techs can spot a counterfeit tool, and the steps manufacturers are taking to combat the sale of counterfeit scan tools.

New ProDemand 1Search feature delivers OEM and experience-based repair info together

Last year at AAPEX 2012, Mitchell 1 released its SureTrack repair information resource, which combined diagnostic experience with repair time savers and detailed parts replacement records. This year, the company integrated its data into the ProDemand integrated diagnostic software to combine OEM and experience-based information.
