Some owners of 2016-2019 Chevy Camaros may comment about cracks on the front shock tower(s) near the strut top mount. 

Some owners of 2016-2019 Chevy Camaros may comment about cracks on the front shock tower(s) near the strut top mount. 

The cause may be a hard impact such as a curb or pot hole that drives a great deal of energy up through the strut tower. If cracks are found, the shock tower must be replaced.
