PTEN is pleased to announce that Kim Auernheimer, co-owner and business manager of CS Automotive, and Michelle Tansey, co-founder and CEO of Dubclinic, have joined the magazine's editorial advisory board.
"I am thrilled that both Michelle and Kim agreed to join the board. They not only bring significant expertise in running repair shops, but they will bring some diverse perspectives to the board that will only help us grow in the future," said PTEN Editor Amanda Silliker.
Auernheimer is the co-owner and business manager of CS Automotive in Brentwood, Tennessee. The shop opened in October of 2006 in the back of a warehouse, and now they call a 6,400 sq. ft., 10-bay shop home. She has a passion to improve the reputation of the automotive repair industry, working alongside other shop owners and industry leaders to improve the overall experience of the customer from the moment they make that first call to the shop until they drive their car off the lot.
In 2017, Auernheimer earned the Accredited Master Automotive Manager (AMAM) designation, and in 2020, she was named the Women in AutoCare’s Female Shop Owner of the Year. She is also a WorldPac Training Institute (WTI) trainer.
Tansey is the co-founder and CEO of Dubclinic, a Volkswagen Auto Group Repair Shop in Santa Clara, California. Dubclinic’s breakthrough service began as a one-bay shop and grew into a five-bay shop in a little over two years. She is involved in crafting the company’s culture, shaping the way they execute marketing, and innovating future growth opportunities — not just within the company but for the industry at large.
As a first generation Mexican-American female under 40, Tansey is outspoken and passionate about increasing diversity in the aftermarket automotive care service. She has set the path for current and future female leaders that work towards improving and strengthening the industry.
