ACDelco will highlight its General Motors OE advantage and its Professional Service Center program when it returns to Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) this year.
The expanded booth (#4608) will include a rolling chassis that represents ACDelco’s portfolio of nearly 90,000 parts across 37 lines, including GM OE, Professional and Advantage lines. ACDelco’s growing Battery Marketer Program also will be featured.
“Last year, when we doubled our booth and brought the chassis, some show-goers didn’t realize that ACDelco is the only true GM OE parts provider in the aftermarket until they saw it firsthand on the chassis, so we’re bringing it back to Las Vegas again,” said Heather Waszczenko, national brand manager.
Other features in the booth include ACDelco’s industry-leading technician training program, available those to shops that participate in the Professional Service Center program. Training options ranging from instructor-led sessions to “TechTube” quick video tutorials will be highlighted.
ACDelco also will show its GM Transmission Electro Hydraulic Control Modules (TEHCMs), the heart of more than 8 million GM six-speed automatic transmission on the road. Using a J2534 interface tool and a TIS2Web subscription, independent facilities and transmission shops can reprogram modules in their own shops and, if necessary replace the TEHCMs themselves.
“Our visitors will see that we sell parts, but we’re really about providing repair solutions to independent shop owners,” said Waszczenko. “We’re looking forward to reconnecting with established and new customers at AAPEX.”
