POWAY, Calif. — Frank Terlep, a 20 year veteran of the collision industry, releases his first book at this year’s International Autobody Conference and Exposition (NACE) trade show. The book titled, “The Digi-Lean Collision Repair System, Combining Lean Thinking, Processes, and Digital Tools to ‘Find’ $10,000 or More per Month in Your Collision Repair Business,” will be available for purchase at NACE for $149, and according to Terlep, $50 from the sale of each book will be donated to two collision industry funds. The author states, “After spending more than 20 years helping auto body shops implement new processes and technologies, I thought the time was right to share some of these technologies, business processes and ideas I feel can help collision repair businesses of any size increase sales, profits and control while dramatically reducing unnecessary expenses and costs. In addition to helping individual business, I also wanted to give something back to an industry I am passionate about and that has been good to me. That is why I am going to split the $50 donation from the sale of each book between the Collision Industry Foundation and the March Taylor Education Fund,” According to Terlep, The Digi-Lean Collision Repair System, challenges repairers to change how they are doing business today by introducing them to a powerful combination of lean thinking, business processes, digital tools and technologies that, when implemented properly, can help them identify $10,000 or more per month in additional revenues, cash flow, gross margin dollars, profits, and/or reductions in administrative costs and/or expenses while reducing cycle times, improving CSI and communications, and increasing office and shop productivity.
