Robert Bosch LLC has added 42 part numbers to its line of disc brake pads, covering a total of 3.1 million units in operation (UIO).
The company says 28 part numbers have been added to the Bosch Blue Disc brake pad line and 14 SKUs have been added to Bosch QuietCast Disc brake pads.
These new numbers extend coverage for high-UIO Asian and Domestic applications such as 2012-2013 Ford F-150, 2012-2013 Honda Civic and Pilot, 2011-2013 Dodge Durango and 2011-2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee, among others.
Bosch says QuietCast Disc brake pads offer full coverage of domestic, Asian and European vehicles. The premium friction formulas used in this Article line are specific to a particular application, whether it is semi-metallic, NAO or ceramic.
The company says QuietCast Disc Brake Pads feature rubber-core shims and many include molded shim technology, which adds long lasting anti-squeal characteristics to the friction formulations.
