Centric Parts reports two of its divisions have recently earned extensions of their ISO/TS certifications. The StopTech high performance and racing brand has earned a renewal of its ISO9001-TS16949 Quality Management System certification at its plant in Compton, Calif., while the Qualis division has earned a renewal of its ISO9001:2008 Quality Management System certification at its Customer Service and Distribution Center in Hebron, Ky.
For StopTech, the TS16949 designation signifies that the company has met the additional requirements for the design, development, and production of automotive brake systems and components, which is a supply chain prerequisite to achieve Tier 1 status with nearly all global vehicle manufacturers. The Qualis division, meanwhile, successfully completed its annual 2015 surveillance audit with zero non-conformance, allowing it to continue its unbroken record of certification stretching back to 1999.
