Automotive Parts Headquarters Inc. (APH), a family-owned aftermarket auto parts distributor and store group, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Jack McClard & Associates (JMC), a leading automotive equipment sales and service business located in Hopkins, Minnesota. The newly acquired location will become an integral part of APH’s BENCO Equipment division and its plans for future growth and market expansion.

JMC, owned and operated by Dave and Jan Fischer (left), has been in business since 1972. The Fischers have been the sole proprietors of the business since 1993 and, along with the help of seven fulltime employees, have grown the business into one of the largest and most wellrespected automotive equipment distributors in the Upper Midwest.

“As Jan and I looked at the future for JMC, we recognized APH as a natural fit to continue our growth,” commented Dave Fischer. “The APH team has a strong culture of service, and we share the same values and focus on taking care of customers and employees alike. Additionally, the BENCO division has the experience and resources available to provide added opportunities for our employees and solutions for our customers.”

APH President and CEO, Corey Bartlett, added, “JMC is well-known across the five-state region for offering top-of-the-line equipment, competitive pricing and unmatched service to their customers. We are delighted that Dave and Jan have chosen APH to continue their strong tradition of supporting the repair, collision and ag industries. We’re excited for an expanded presence in the Twin Cities market”

In the coming months, APH plans to merge its BENCO Equipment location in Shakopee, Minnesota, with JMC to better serve the Twin Cities and its surrounding markets.
