RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – Ryan Devine, senior manager aftermarket product management, light vehicle driveline and power technologies, Dana Inc., has been awarded the Modern Industry eXpertise (MiX) scholarship for the University of the Aftermarket’s 2018-2019 Leadership 2.0. MiX is a council of the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA), the light vehicle aftermarket division of the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA).

Devine leads the aftermarket light vehicle driveline and power technologies product management teams at Dana and is a respected product management professional who has dedicated his career to continued learning about the aftermarket industry. At Dana, he has managed many other aftermarket teams during his tenure including commercial vehicle product management, program management and content/catalog.

Devine also has played an integral role in the creation of Dana’s customer focused e-commerce platform. Since joining the Dana aftermarket division in 2011, he has been a key driver of many new products and strategic initiatives, including the recently announced Jeep Wrangler JL first-to-market program. This new offering encompasses a complete range of high performance drivetrain upgrades focused on the needs of Jeep off-road enthusiasts.

Prior to joining Dana, Devine served as a product group team leader at Dorman Products where he managed a cross-functional team comprised of product management, engineering, purchasing and materials management. During his time at Dorman he was able help drive many new-to-the-aftermarket product initiatives and managed more than 20 different product lines in chassis, emissions, drivetrain, brakes and powertrain categories. His time at Dorman provided key insight into what is required to develop solutions that create value for the technicians.

Devine is a graduate of the Northwood University automotive aftermarket program. He also is a member of the MiX and actively involved in aftermarket associations.

Leadership 2.0 is the industry’s cornerstone educational program that fosters the development of a new generation of visionary aftermarket executives. The program is an intense and intellectually challenging two-week executive development and learning experience deeply rooted in the theoretical and practical application of automotive aftermarket leadership principles.

The scholarship will be available again to MiX members or employees of AASA member companies for the 2018-2019 University of the Aftermarket Leadership 2.0 program. Details about the Leadership 2.0 program are available here.
