NATEF, iATN aim to train the trainers

Automotive educators can stay up-to-date on vehicle technology with NATEF and iATN
Nov. 4, 2016

Tschanen Brandyberry, special projects editor for the UBM Americas Automotive Group, wrote a blog, “NATEF, iATN Help Automotive Educators Stay Current.”

Constantly changing vehicle technology and the advent of autonomous driving and improved security to prevent hacking, mean that auto technicians and parts specialists can’t afford to stop learning.

Organizations such as the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) and iATN, or the International Automotive Technicians Network, can help train the trainers.  NATEF aims to improve technician training programs nationwide at high schools and post-secondary schools. Training courses that offer NATEF certification offer the best and most current techniques in the industry.

iATN is an online, members-only system that offers many questions, answers, problems and solutions for technicians and educators.
