BWD Automotive releases 239 new part numbers

Standard Motor Products (SMP) announces the addition of 239 new part numbers to its BWD engine management line. The release spans 38 product categories and expands coverage through the 2016 model year with more than 152 million additional vehicles in operation.

Standard Motor Products (SMP) announces the addition of 239 new part numbers to its BWD® engine management line. The release spans 38 product categories and expands coverage through the 2016 model year with more than 152 million additional vehicles in operation (VIO).

Highlights from the BWD line expansion include the release of 20 ignition lock cylinders and 71 power door lock actuators. The brand also expanded its switch and sensor lines, with the introduction of 75 switches covering 22 million VIO and 46 sensors covering 19 million VIO.
