CHICAGO — Technicians are invited to test the effectiveness of the newly updated OTC Encore diagnostic tool software program — and you can win a prize as well!
Bosch is hosting the OTC Technician Challenge at booth 1338 at Automechanika Chicago, April 24-25. The Encore features an updated Bravo 2.0 system that comes with a lifetime warranty for the hardware with the purchase of an active subscription.
The contest aims to provide a 3-7 minute experience with the tool, and has been a great way for the Bosch to engage with the young technician audience at Automechanika Chicago, said Justin Fisette.
Those with the best contest times will be eligible to win an Encore diagnostic tool kit, a Ford master cam tool kit or a package of award-winning OTC innovation tools.
The updated software features enhanced speed and upgrades for users, said Fisette, marketing and PR specialist with Bosch Automotive Service Solutions. The tool now features 90-95 percent of 2008 and newer vehicle models and offers faster transition between screens, among other enhancements.
The softward can be downloaded onto an Encore tool; and for any issues or questions, an expanded technical service hours are now available — 8 a.m. to 12 a.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. The helpline can be reached at (888) 789-2602.
