CHICAGO — Brembo is utilizing its booth at Automechanika Chicago not only to display it aftermarket parts range, but also to take advantage of one-on-one contact with the technician.

“It is great to be able to talk to the guys on the street and get feedback — are you using our products, where do you get them, and what can we do better,” said Ferde Sanders with Brembo. Technicians also answered surveys on iPads at the Brembo booth to help the company gain valuable insights and information on their brand perception and execution.

But the feedback has been mainly positive, Sanders said. “People love the brand, and our communication is always improving. But the technicians continue to learn more about us, and us about them,” he said. “We offer great products, and our technology is always improving and our communication is improving between us and those passionate about our brand.”

On the Automechanika Show floor, April 24-26, Brembo displayed its original equipment premium range of aftermarket products with special focus on protective UV-coated brake discs and pads.

The North American market is the largest for Brembo, and the company continues its growth with construction of a cast-iron foundry in Michigan that is set to open in 2016.

Also launched at Automechanika Chicago is the Brembo Expert Initiative for the U.S; this is a free online tool for technicians, dealers and distributors to access training, as well as regular updates on some new technologies and products Brembo offers in its aftermarket range. Once training is complete, participants are certified as a Brembo Expert and their shop or distribution company is included under the “where to find” feature on the Brembo site.

The Brembo Expert program distinguishes service professionals and dealers who recognize Brembo quality. Professionals who choose Brembo Expert will immediately be associated with Brembo’s know-how and reliability, and will be kept up-to-date on the latest news in the brake industry, in addition to receiving increased exposure on the Brembo maps accessible at www.bremboparts.com.
