PureForge Brake Rotors Undergo First Competition Ride at Southwest Police Motorcycle Event

PureForge, the only company using patented Atomic-Forged technology to make metal tougher, announced the first test of its wear-resistant brake rotors on a police competition course. The rotors were mounted to the BMW motorcycle that leading police motorcycle competitor Quinn Redeker rode April 27 and 28 in the 16th Annual Southwest Police Motorcycle Training and Competition in Phoenix, Ariz. The timed course challenged the riders and motorcycles with several agility exercises that assessed penalties for knocking over cones, putting a foot down, and other infractions. Redeker, a motor officer and trainer/instructor for the Ventura, Calif. Police Department, also plans to compete with PureForge rotors at the Manteca, Calif. Police Motor Skills and Training Competition on May 12, and at the Roseville, Calif. Police Motor Competition on May 19, which will give PureForge valuable performance metrics and insights.

"PureForge is thrilled to put the rotors – rather than the rubber – to the road in our first-ever use on a competition course," said Nathan K. Meckel, Co-founder, President and CTO of PureForge.  "Reviewing PureForge's rotor performance in demanding situations like these helps us ensure that we meet unprecedented quality and performance standards for our customers. We are honored to have Officer Quinn Redeker, one of the finest motorcyclists in the country, be the first to sample our rotors on a competition course."
