Goodyear Tire & Rubber joins Suppliers Partnership for the Environment

Tire company commitment to SP shows support for addressing sustainability issues.

The Suppliers Partnership for the Environment (SP) announced the addition of its newest member company, The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, one of the world's leading tire companies.

"We are pleased to welcome Goodyear to SP," said SP's Chair, Randy Leslie, Vice President and General Manager, Johnson Controls, Inc., Automotive Experience. "Goodyear's commitment to creating a foundation of sustainability and working with its suppliers to minimize its environmental footprint will be an excellent asset for SP's members as we work together to improve environmental performance while increasing value throughout the automobile supply chain."

Goodyear will be represented by: Mr. David Chapman, Director, Global EHS Sustainability; Mr. David Woodyard, Global Manager, Environmental Sustainability and Product Stewardship; and, Mr. Aiman Abdrabou, Global Manager, Energy & GHG.
