Hunter Engineering announces Subaru approval for Ultimate ADAS

June 5, 2025
Subaru has approved the use of Hunter's Ultimate ADAS calibration system for its dealer and collision network.

Hunter Engineering announced that Subaru has approved its Ultimate ADAS alignment and calibration system for its dealer and collision network in the United States. Hunter will debut Ultimate ADAS during this year's Subaru ABC show.

Ultimate ADAS uses gimbal-mounted lasers and a guided target placement system to both decrease setup time and increase target precision with automatic compensation for non-level floors, placement errors, and accuracy checks throughout the process.

Subaru is the fifth OEM to approve the system, following Honda, Acura, Nissan, and Infiniti. Additional approvals are planned for the rest of the year.

Kaleb Silver, Hunter Director, Product Management, said, “It’s been exciting to partner with Subaru of America and Subaru Japan to approve Ultimate ADAS for Subaru dealers. Subaru has been a leader in the ADAS market for many years, and Ultimate ADAS gives their dealer and collision network access to the industry-leading ADAS calibration technology to service and document vehicles more efficiently.”
