The Equipment and Tool Institute (ETI) announced the opening of a new branch in Europe, its first in the institute's 77-year history. The opening is part of the organization's mission to support the automotive and truck industry globally and foster innovation and collaboration within the industry as a whole.

According to ETI, there are three key benefits that European industry members can take advantage of after becoming members. First, ETI will serve as the single point of contact for vehicle manufacturer data licensing requirements, and its experts help members navigate the nuances of different manufacturer data models. Second, ETI's close relationship with vehicle manufacturers, government bodies, standard committees, and other aftermarket organizations allows the institute to curate and deliver essential industry knowledge to members. Finally, the institute features specialized task forces that members can join to collaborate on market challenges and solutions, as well as the opportunity to link directly with manufacturers through ETI events.

ETI also launched a new website, etools.org, to support the European expansion and provide information about the institute's benefits and initiatives for European members.
