Mazda approves John Bean Tru-Point for service use
The John Bean Tru-Point ADAS calibration tool is now approved for service and repair use in the U.S. by Mazda.
The TruPoint helps verify ADAS-related wheel alignment values and monitors the setup process so that technicians are adhering to OEM safety standards before calibration begins. Featuring advanced camera technology, the system enables precise target positioning and automatically adjusts based on the vehicle's placement. A detailed, user-friendly report is generated to document that the technician has completed all required steps for an accurate calibration.
The Tru-Point website offers system coverage videos that demonstrate calibration procedures. Updated content provides valuable guidance to help shops achieve precise results, covering topics such as floor space and lighting, service data, vehicle alignment, target placement, and scan tool integrations. An ADAS profit calculator is also available to help shops estimate the revenue potential of offering ADAS services.
