Power Steering Booster for Chevy Express
This bulletin applies to 2010-2016 Chevy Express and GMC Savana vehicles. Some customers may comment on a power steering fluid leak originating from the brake hydro-booster. This may be due to overheating (thermal set of the hydro-boost seals) from lack of/insufficient cooling by the top cooler.
If you encounter this concern, replace the power brake booster and the power steering cooler with a newly-designed power steering cooler. Note: When installing the newly designed power steering cooler, there is a fluid-low switch. This will not be connected to anything and will not interfere with cooler operation.
