WATCH: Colorado Department of Transportation uses WWII Howitzer to clear avalanche-prone areas
The Colorado Department of Transportation employed a World War II-era Howtizer cannon to rid certain areas of snow on the heels of some recent winter weather.
Leased from the U.S. Army, it is 105mm and has been adept at cleaning up areas prone to avalanches.
