New eateries to be featured in wifi-enabled cafes.

The Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) is delivering new culinary options to this year's event with the addition of six eateries, styled to look like classic streetside food trucks. AAPEX will be held Tuesday, Oct. 30 through Thursday, Nov. 1, at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas.

These new eateries will be featured in three wifi-enabled cafes at AAPEX. A food truck in the Upper Lobby will offer baked goods and desserts. Two trucks in the Hall D extension with serve Gourmet Grilled Cheese and Pulled Pork, and three trucks in the Lobby Level Hall G will offer Asian Noodles, Tacos and Philly CheeseSteaks.

“No conventional food for this convention center as the Great Food Truck race makes a stop at the Sands Expo in Las Vegas for the AAPEX Show,” said Ashlyn LaPorte, executive director of event management for the Sands Expo & Convention Center. “Our new food truck village has plenty of choices; come by and give them a try!”

In addition to the food trucks at AAPEX, a new Café Sands is open in the lower lobby by the new Business Center. The café serves specialty coffees, pastries, salads, parfaits and sandwiches.
