Markdale Tractor announces more environmentally friendly fuels
Dann Olesen, president of Markdale Tractor has announced that their extensive line of New Holland tractors now support more environmentally friendly fuels. This move underscores their commitment to supporting the environment and promoting renewable energy by allowing customers to run their equipment on alternative fuels like biodiesel.
According to Dann at Markdale Tractor, one of the top ten New Holland dealers in North America, this move to alternative fuels is the future of the agricultural industry. “New Holland is always on the cutting edge of clean energy in the agricultural industry, which is why we are so proud to work with them in bringing environmentally friendly tractors and equipment to our customers,” said Olesen.
“80% of New Holland’s diesel powered equipment, including tractors, now supports the use of B100 biodiesel, which gives our customers much greater flexibility in terms of how they choose to run their equipment,” said Dann.
He went on to note that an extensive, on-going study using real-life conditions at Penn State University’s College of Agricultural Sciences has proven that making the switch to biodiesel has not affected the performance or reliability of New Holland equipment in any way.
Dann went on to say, “Our environmentally friendly lines of New Holland tractors are specifically designed to take advantage of all the new advances that have been made in clean energy in recent years. These tractors allow our customers to run their equipment on 100% biodiesel, which we believe is poised to gain greater acceptance and adoption in the industry over the coming years.
“This means our customers can enjoy the quality and reliability that they’ve come to expect from New Holland all while helping to steer the industry away from fossil fuels that contribute to global warming.”
