ISE Fleet Services will unveil its new product family, eFleetSuite, at the FMCSA’s Safety Technology Showcase event on October 14. Wireless Roadside Inspection (WRI) demonstrations will be shown using the company’s EOBR solution set.
The event is being held at the Greene County Tennessee Inspection Station (near Bulls Gap, Tennessee). Anne Ferro, FMCSA Administrator, will be the keynote speaker.
In partnership with Oak Ridge National Laboratory and John A. Volpe National Transportation Systems Center, ISE Fleet Services will demonstrate an end-to-end WRI system capable of inspecting a commercial motor vehicle as it comes into contact with a fixed inspection station. A component of eFleetSuite, the WRI interface (developed by ISE) residing on the in-cab device detects the station via a geofence and sends the 7- or 8-day on-board driver log history to the FMCSA database.
ISE Fleet Services’ eFleetSuite is a customizable, modular and scalable end-to-end solution that is easy to deploy and easy to use for automation of safety and compliance. The system includes the mDash 4, a low cost rugged in-cab EOBR that contains the mobile component of eFleetSuite. This component acts like the "safety manager" that is present with drivers in real-time to help them stay within safety and compliance parameters.
Roadside inspections are aided by providing information for a clean inspection that leads to a good driving record and an improved fleet CSA2010 score. The mDash 4 communicates wirelessly using a robust communications system over a nationwide cellular network.
Safety compliance officers, fleet managers, dispatchers and maintenance personnel will use eFleetSuite’s web application for real time and paperless compliance and resource management.
eFleetSuite is available for fleets in December through ISE Fleet Services. eFleetSuite is deployed on ISE Fleet Services’ new EOBR, mDash 4. The mDash 4 is an easy-to-install, self-contained EOBR using touch screen technology that is rugged and meets FMCSA 395.16 environmental and connectivity specifications.
