TRIB announces new slate of board officers

Selects new managing director

The Tire Retread & Repair Information Bureau (TRIB), a non-profit, member-supported industry association dedicated to the recycling of tires through retreading and repairing, has announced the election of new board officers, including:

• President - Bob Majewski, president and COO of Sumerel Tire Service. • Vice president - Eddie Burleson, general manager of Central Marketing. • Secretary - Philip Boarts, director of marketing of Oliver Rubber Company.

TRIB also announced the hiring of David Stevens as the new managing director of TRIB to replace Harvey Brodsky, who held that position for many, many years.

Stevens comes to TRIB with almost two decades of marketing, public relations, sales and customer service management experience with both U.S. and International organizations.
