FleetPride to move its existing Eugene operations into new facility

FleetPride, Inc., the nation's largest independent aftermarket distributor of heavy duty truck and trailer parts, has acquired the assets of Friction Materials Co. The acquisition includes the leasing of Friction Materials' 15,000 square foot facility in Eugene, Oregon.

FleetPride will immediately move its existing operations in Eugene, currently located at 460 N Danebo Street, into the newly acquired facility, located at 1045 Garfield Street.

"Friction Materials has a long history in this market and we are looking forward to bringing their customers into the fold. We feel confident that they will continue to receive the level of service to which they have become accustomed - and now they will also have access to an expanded product inventory," explained Steve Turnlund, regional vice president - West for FleetPride.

Turnlund continued: "Eugene, Oregon, is an important market for FleetPride. By expanding our current Eugene operations into a larger facility, we will be able to better serve our local, regional, and national accounts."
