ISN Tool Dealer Expo 2016 deemed a success

The Integrated Supply Network (ISN) Tool Dealer Expo is a place for suppliers to launch first-to-market products and to deliver exclusive products only available through ISN.

As one of the industry’s largest tool and equipment tradeshows, the Integrated Supply Network (ISN) Tool Dealer Expo is a place for suppliers to launch first-to-market products and to deliver exclusive products only available through ISN. More than $2 million in cash and prizes given away at this year's event, which celebrated its 14th year. And the location, in Orlando at the Gaylord Palms resort, turned out to be a great weekend away for everyone involved.

Tool Dealer Expo focused on inspiring attendees to help grow their business. They were able to have a first look at some new products that they can hit the streets with before it goes mainstream. Attendees also had access to deals, cash and chances to win a 2016 Chevy Silverado and 2016 Chevy Camaro, which were among the over $300,000 in prizes. A new product program from ISN was launched, offering those that sign up for the program exclusive offers on new products and special membership privileges. As ISN inspired customers this weekend, the customers also inspired ISN with their high level of energy, customer loyalty and meeting the customers’ families.

Tool Dealer Expo brings together distributors, the entire ISN team, and manufacturers for a weekend of product and sales training, live demos, networking, dinners, buying, selling, smiling and laughing. Distributors utilize this time to network with other distributors and meet one-on-one with key suppliers and their sales associates at ISN. The entire weekend is full of inspiring events that will fuel growth.

The show concluded with a Saturday night Farewell Awards Dinner hosted by comedian Ryan Hamilton and entertainment by Betty Who. Suppliers were presented with awards for their sales achievement and creativity and engagement in the show. Prizes were awarded to event attendees throughout the night.

Four supplier awards that are voted on by attendees were given:

  • “Best New Product Debuted” - Ingersoll Rand IQv20 W5132 & W5152. The first cordless impact tool that delivers the power of air at 365 ft/lbs of MAX torque.
  • “Best Product Demonstration” - Milwaukee with the New Cordless Polisher demo and multiple product trainings throughout the booth.
  • “Best New Supplier” – Zippo. Yes, the Zippo lighters. They had great displays for customers and the attendees.
  • “Most Spirit” – Ingersoll Rand took this home for the second year in a row.

“Best In Show” was given to Milwaukee for their overwhelming energy in the booth, outstanding sales performance, product training and overall team spirit. Followed by sales achievement awards for greatest sales volume, most orders written, and greatest percentage growth over previous year.

Then the fun begins for attendees awarding the big cash and vehicle prizes. Prizes included a 2016 Chevy Silverado and a 2016 Mazda Miata compliments of ISN, a 2016 Chevy Camaro compliments of Wilton Jet, a 2016 Jeep Wrangler sponsored by Irwin, a 2016 Polaris Rzr from Steelman Pro, cash prizes compliments of ISN: $15,000, $10,000, $5,000 and $2,500, along with these cash prizes from Ingersoll Rand: $7,500, $5,000 and $2,500, two $2500 VISA gift cards compliments of Redline Detection, a 72” Extreme Tools Roller Cabinet, and a VIP Racing Experience from DeWalt.

Tool Dealer Expo 2016 was another major success for attendees and suppliers alike. ISN continues to expand as does the attendance for each event. With growth comes joint success. ISN is already busy planning for not one, but two events in 2017. Save the dates for:

  • Tool Expo West, which is slated for March 17-18 at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas.
  • Tool Dealer Expo, which is slated for June 30-July 1 at the Gaylord Palms in Orlando, Fla.
