Midwest Wheel first two-time distributor of the year winner

Feb. 1, 2013
Midwest Wheel Companies was named Distributor of the Year by Truck Parts & Service.

Midwest Wheel Companies, one of the largest truck parts distributors in the Midwest, was named Distributor of the Year by Truck Parts & Service, making MWC the first company to win this honor twice in the 11-year history of the award. The company also won in 2004.
Midwest Wheel was announced as the Distributor of the Year in a ceremony during the general session at Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week in Las Vegas.

"This is a great honor for us and our company," said John Minor, executive vice president and COO. "We are so proud to be recognized with this award. At Midwest Wheel service is a top priority and being named Distributor of the Year proves we're working in the right direction."

Each year five distributors are nominated by peers, manufacturer representatives and other industry leaders. Of those five, one is selected and awarded the independent aftermarket's most respected and highest honor. This year the other nominees were Inland Truck Parts, Parts For Trucks, Point Spring & Driveshaft and Six Robblees.

"Walking on to the stage to accept the award was such a surreal moment, we had stiff competition in the other nominees so it was a true honor when our name was called," said Minor.
Midwest Wheel Companies has been in business for over 100 years and is fourth-generation, family-owned. In that time, the company has expanded to 7 branches across Iowa and Missouri. Midwest Wheel has been working in recent years on diversifying its product offering and continuing to provide excellent service on all levels.
