Jost International has announced that powder coating and fabrication services are now available from their TS6949/ISO14001/ISO9001 certified Greeneville, TN facility to other manufacturers in the automotive, commercial vehicle, agricultural, forestry and construction industries. As a Tier 1 supplier, JOST processes meet the highest quality standards required by original equipment manufacturers and their capabilities can lower cost and offer competitive advantage.

Jost's Greeneville plant is one of the most modern advanced pre-treatment powder coating facilities with their process passing the stringent GMW 14872 cyclic corrosion test standard. Each part is powder coated in conjunction with an advanced 10 stage (including pickle and zinc phosphate) pretreatment process which offers optimum surface sealing and first rate corrosion protection. Powder coating can be completed in either small or industrial scale batch sizes. It is ideal for manufacturers of mass-produced cast and sheet metal components; and due to their descaling capabilities, it's excellent for laser processed parts as well. Jost's fabrication process uses both manual and robotic welding with laser and plasma cutting up to 0.5" with powder coating and assembly finishing.

Fabrication and powder coating capabilities at the Jost facility can process parts that weigh between one and six hundred pounds and in sizes up to 6' x 4' x 2' with a layer thickness between 2.4 and 3.5mm.
