Customers can find right part among competing part numbers and different naming conventions.

Alliance Truck Parts, a leading aftermarket parts provider for the commercial transportation industry, has launched an online parts lookup tool to help customers find the right part among countless competing numbers and naming conventions. The web-based tool consolidates data from the top OEM and independent manufacturers creating a single point of access to find the right all-makes part.

With a simple web interface, visitors can search for the part needed in two ways: by the Alliance Truck Parts number or by a competing supplier's part number. With the click of a mouse, the parts lookup and cross-reference tool provides the suggested part number and information from Alliance Truck Parts, and by entering a city and state, it offers links to dealers and relevant parts specials in the area.

"We're proud to be able to offer our customers this new tool that greatly simplifies finding a suggested all-makes part," said Daniel Haggerty, director of parts and service marketing for Daimler Trucks North America. "Alliance Truck Parts continues to build on our broad commitment to customer service and our focus on providing comprehensive parts offerings for all makes of commercial trucks and buses."

The tool was created with dealer parts managers, fleet managers and independent customers in mind. Previously, multiple parts catalogs had to be consulted and compared to find the desired part. The new online tool solves that issue, saving valuable time, as well as being more accurate with up-to-date part number information from multiple suppliers.

"This tool represents a major improvement in functionality for everyone looking at truck parts," added Haggerty. "It's an example of how we're leveraging technology to support our customers and maintain Alliance Truck Parts as the brand of choice in the market."

The cross-reference tool is currently loaded with information from more than 30 different product lines, with more being added as new products become available from Alliance Truck Parts. See the new tool at www.alliancetruckparts.com/products/partsreference.asp.
