Application

Cojali's Jaltest Diagnostics Kit supports technicians through the entire repair process—from routine maintenance to the most advanced diagnostics. With its all-systems coverage and built-in repair information, it helps complete tasks like:

  • Routine checkups: Quickly read and clear fault codes, run full system scans, and generate professional health reports to share with customers—all made easier with the integrated shop management tool, Jaltest GRP.
  • Service and maintenance tasks: Reset service intervals, check live data, perform DPF regenerations, DEF system checks, and test actuators and sensors across various systems.
  • Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting: Identify root causes with step-by-step troubleshooting guides, wiring diagrams, and component testing, reducing guesswork in complex situations.
  • Dealer-level repairs: Carry out calibrations, parameter changes, and ECU configurations on brands like Cummins, Detroit Diesel, International, Paccar, and more.

Selling points

  • True all-in-one platform: Sell one tool that works across sectors—trucks, off-highway, agriculture, and marine. Jaltest uses the same hardware and intuitive software, regardless of the application, saving your customers time and training costs.
  • Dealer-level capabilities: Perform calibrations, DPF regens, and ECU updates on brands like Cummins, Detroit Diesel, International, and Paccar. With functions once limited to OEM tools, your customers keep more work in-house, and you make an easy upsell.
  • Built to grow with your customers: Start with one coverage module, expand later if needed. Modular licensing and frequent updates keep Jaltest future-proof. That means long-term value and recurring revenue for you through upgrades and renewals.
  • Training and live tech support included: Every Jaltest user gets expert onboarding and access to live ASE-certified support. Fewer returns. Happier customers. Easier support on your end.

Origin

The idea behind Jaltest came from a clear need in the repair industry: technicians and shop owners were struggling with the complexity, cost, and inefficiency of using multiple OEM tools. Buying and maintaining separate software licenses for each brand was not only expensive it was unrealistic for many independent shops and even larger fleets. And learning how to navigate each system? That alone took time and created a steep learning curve.

Jaltest was developed to solve this problem by offering a single, all-makes solution that brings together diagnostics, repair information, and technician support into one streamlined platform.

But Cojali didn’t stop there. They recognized that many shops were also juggling separate subscriptions for technical data or constantly switching between screens, apps, or even devices just to complete a job. That’s why Jaltest includes integrated technical information—wiring diagrams, component specs, service procedures, and guided troubleshooting—all in one place, right where you need it.

Cojali knew that sometimes, even with all the tools in hand, technicians still hit a wall. That feeling of being stuck with no one to turn to is one of the biggest sources of frustration in this industry. So they built in direct access to our ASE-certified support team, who don’t just give advice—they can remote into the session, walk you through the process, and meet you exactly where you are, both in the software and on the vehicle.

Jaltest was created to make diagnostics and repair smarter, more accessible, and less frustrating for every tech, in every bay.

Manufacturing/engineering specifications

Jaltest is developed and manufactured in Spain, where engineers, together with a dedicated validation team, develop and test every new function on real vehicles to ensure reliability and accuracy.

The diagnostic link—the core of the system—is built in Spain and measures 6.5" x 4" x 1.5", weighing just 1 lb. The full kit, including the interface, cables, and hard case, comes in at 20" x 15" x 6" and 12 lbs total.

Everything is designed for durability, portability, and performance—backed by a team that ensures it works as promised.

Storage and display

Each Jaltest kit is shipped inside a form-fitting cardboard box for added protection and efficient storage. The packaging is lightweight and compact, making it easy to stock up and stack without taking up unnecessary space.

Each box contains one complete unit—diagnostic link V9, cables, and the hardcase—ready to go. For truck placement, we recommend storing units on shelving or in side compartments for quick access, ideally with labels facing out for easy identification.
