The SP Air Short Reciprocating Air Saw, No. SP-7620, is lightweight and features a small body style for greater access to tight work places. It is able to cut steel, sheet metal, fiberglass, FRP, rubber, resins, and bumpers. The SP-7620 has a direct drive motor that turns a gear for a powerful cut and has a graduated trigger for ease of control. It also features an ergonomic design with a cushion grip handle, safety throttle lever, and a built-in power regulator. The SP-7620 has an overall length of 6.1” and weighs 1 lb.

Application 

The SP Air Shot Reciprocating Air Saw works well for cutting off quarter panels, as well as cutting through fiberglass or rubber.

SP Air had requests to make a smaller hand-held gear-driven saw. Their SP-7610 is about 2” longer than the new SP-7620.

The SP-7620 runs at 7,500 strokes per minute with a 0.24” stroke. Its overall length is 6.1” and it weighs 1.0 lb.

Storage and display

The SP-7620 comes in a box with the parts broken down. The company suggests that an air chuck be used on the tool to allow it to be displayed with other air tools on the truck.
