The Thexton Hood/Tailgate Prop, No. 430, is designed to eliminate the use of clumsy sticks or props. This tool clamps to weak gas cylinder lifts to hold up the hood or tailgate while the user replaces the other strut. The brass screw will not damage the cylinder rod.
