Clore Automotive offers the SOLAR PRO-LOGIX 2A by 4 channel 12V battery maintenance station, No. PL4020. This unit combines fully automatic operation and the ability to properly charge most lead acid battery types, including conventional, AGM, spiral wound, start-stop, deep cycle and marine. With each channel fully independent, a problem battery on one channel does not impact the rest of the batteries under charge, allowing charging of any combination of battery types across the four channels. The PL4020 adapts its approach based on the needs of each battery it services.

Origin

Clore Automotive says they have had a tremendous response to the SOLAR PRO-LOGIX line of charging products. One of the most common requests they have received related to PRO-LOGIX was for a multi-channel version of the product and this is the first response to those requests. The product was developed to address the need to manage multiple batteries simultaneously.

Manufacturing specs

The charger is made in China under Clore Automotive supervision. It provides 12V charging / maintenance across four channels at a current of 2.0A per channel. It has specific settings for flooded or AGM batteries, enabling it to properly charge most lead acid battery types, including flooded, AGM, spiral wound, deep cycle and marine batteries. The unit’s ship weight is 5.5 lbs.

Storage and display

This model can be shipped via all transportation methods and comes one per master pack. The company suggests mounting it on the truck and using it to maintain the reserve batteries used to run the lights, computer system, etc. on the truck.
