Having an impact by helping others

Independent distributor Nathen Arnold helps out his community after impact of growing up with fewer opportunities

Independent distributor Nathen Arnold grew up with fewer opportunities than others growing up in North Kansas City.

“I appreciate what I have and what I do. I see people that struggle and I try to help out,” says Arnold.

He has done this by periodically providing some leniency with payments, or by giving tools to those in need. He’s quick to offer assistance for those he sees that need an extra hand. “I’ve got a shop up here, he needed a job, but he needed an air compressor. I went and bought it for him... so he could make some money for his family.”

“I grew up in the inner city, and I fought my way up to where I’m at,” he adds.

Not only does he help out others in the industry, he also makes sure to help his community. “I keep dollar bills here (in the truck) so I can just give them to people,” says Arnold. “You always want to try and help if you can, and be thankful for what you’ve got.”

For this good will, Arnold expects nothing in return.
