In Focus: King Tony America M7 1/2" Drive Air Impact Wrench

Aug. 4, 2015
This tool features 700 ft/lbs of max reverse torque and weighs only 3 lbs.

Continuing to expand on the mini-impact wrench category that Mighty-Seven (M7) created, the first composite body, twin-hammer mini was added in 2014. The King Tony America 1/2" Drive Air Impact Wrench, No. NC-4232Q, features 700 ft/lbs of max reverse torque, weighs only 3 lbs, and is surprisingly quiet at only 83 dBA. This unit is small enough to fit in tight areas, comfortably light and quiet enough to limit hearing loss. Other features include a front grease port, and a forward/reverse lever that can be modified for left- or right-handed users. This tool comes with the company's three-year limited warranty.

Application

This tool is well-suited for lower vehicle/chassis maintenance in tight areas (shock mounts and bumper mounts). The NC-4232Q also works well handling lug nuts and for engine compartment maintenance in tight spaces.

Selling Points

According to the company, the NC-4232Q:

  • Features a best-in-class power-to-weight ratio.
  • Comes with a three-year limited warranty to defects in material or workmanship.
  • Offers an ergonomic design.

Features and benefits

  • Prevents minimal user fatigue due to its light weight of 3 lbs.
  • Features a grease port in-front housing for easy end-user maintenance.
  • Allows for single-hand operation with three power settings in forward and reverse.
  • Features spring-loaded rotor blades to allow the wrench to reach maximum torque in five seconds.

Origin

The NC-4232Q represents the company's fourth generation of an innovative air tool concept. The market demanded a lighter, smaller impact wrench, without the loss of power in return.
