Akebono Brake Corporation has added Willy Molina to its aftermarket sales team. Molina is the company's new southeast district manager and will report to Matt Kenefick, Akebono Eastern Region Sales Manager. Molina has more than 25 years of experience in the automotive aftermarket, beginning on the lube rack of a local repair shop and growing to run five professional service centers. Molina spent 12 years in outside sales & store manager roles at AutoPlus/Pep Boys and Bennett Auto Supply. After a few years at Dorman Products, Willy moved into his most recent position as territory sales manager at Petro Choice.
Molina attended Tampa University, where he earned his Bachelor of Business Management. He will be based out of his home office in Florida. In his free time, you will find Willy driving one of his classic cars, going to a car show, or hanging with his truck club friends of Central Florida Classic Trucks.
“Willy is a true sales professional with a strong passion for the automotive aftermarket, and we are looking forward to him working closely with our professional installers, fleets, municipalities, jobber stores, and distributors," Kenefick said.
