PHINIA celebrates over 250 patents; honors innovators

Company reaches patent milestone, launches Innovation Hall of Fame

PHINIA announced that its innovators have been named on over 250 patents since becoming a standalone company in July 2023, highlighting its ever-growing commitment to combustion technologies in diesel, gasoline, hydrogen, and alternative fuels.

With over 6,000 patents and more than 1,900 active patents across 24 jurisdictions, PHINIA remains positioned as an innovator in powertrain and fuel systems.

The company also hosted its inaugural Innovation Hall of Fame induction ceremony in Gillingham, England, on March 10, 2025, honoring four inventors for their outstanding contributions to PHINIA’s IP legacy, each with 20-plus patents under. their belts. A second celebration recognized 11 additional inventors who achieved Master of Innovation status with 10-19 patents.
