DENSO Products and Services Americas, Inc., an affiliate of leading global automotive supplier DENSO Corp., has earned two coveted awards in the same year from Automotive Parts Associates (APA) Inc.: the 2020 Distinguished Original Equipment (OE) Partner Award and the 2020 Supplier of the Year Award. APA is an industry-leading cooperative made up of approximately 60 independent auto parts and warehouse distributors with more than 450 locations across North America and more than $500 million in purchasing power.
APA’s Distinguished OE Partner Award recognizes a leading vendor that has successfully brought its OE products into the automotive aftermarket, supplied APA members with top quality replacement parts and provided exceptional customer support for their operations and initiatives. DENSO was the inaugural recipient when APA first introduced the award in 2015 and also received the honor in 2018.
The organization’s Supplier of the Year Award is one of two new awards based on benchmarks APA recently updated to give itsmembers the ability to nominate suppliers that provide the best support and service for their businesses as a whole. Both honors replace previous APA awards.
Founded in 1973 and headquartered in Lenexa, Kansas, APA is one of the auto industry’s oldest program distribution groups operating as a member-owned, not-for-profit cooperative. APA recognizes top suppliers for their outstanding service and support of its members in conjunction with its shareholder and supplier conference held annually in March.
