GERMANTOWN, Tenn. – The Automotive Distribution Network continues to extend Auto Pride’s presence along the East Coast with the recent signings of two new members who serve customers throughout New York’s five boroughs: Brooklyn-based South Shore Auto Parts and Long Island City’s E&Y Distributors, Inc.
“The Network is proud to welcome aboard these two thriving, New York family-owned businesses whose commitment to outstanding service and customer relationships complements Auto Pride’s mission very well,” says Cora Roark, the group’s director of Auto Pride.
With sons Louis Jr., Andrew and Christopher rotating as general managers at each of South Shore’s locations that serve customers throughout Queens, Long Island and Staten Island, owner Lou Cretella says his company will leverage The Network’s relationships with its manufacturer strategic partners and the group’s innovative I.T. solutions to add top name-brand parts to their inventory and better serve their customer base.
E&Y founder and president Yoav Agayev built his business from scratch in the early ’90s, outhustling his competitors to earn the business of New York’s recession-proof fleets, garages and companies leasing yellow-cab medallion taxis. Today, E&Y’s 50 employees work together to make more than 100 daily deliveries out of its 30,000-sq.-ft. warehouse in Long Island City.
Operating under the brands of Parts Plus, Parts Plus Mexico, IAPA and Auto Pride, The Automotive Distribution Network is one of the most diverse groups in the auto-care industry. The Network is a proud member of Nexus North America and Nexus Automotive International, a group of parts distributors who are committed to bringing a global approach to the industry.
