JACKSONVILLE, FLA. – The Parts House (TPH) has acquired the assets of Congress Auto Parts, including five locations in Palm Beach County, Fla. TPH, the largest independent auto-parts distributor in the Southeast, plans to build on the impeccable reputation established by the area’s Congress stores and personnel.
“Congress Auto Parts is known for providing top-notch customer service dating back more 40-plus years in the business, which complements TPH’s commitment to excellence,” says David Honig, president of TPH. “[Former Congress owner] Johnny Espinosa and his team are among the most highly respected people in the market. We anticipate growing their core business along with an enhanced B2B model highlighted by large inventories of original equipment and aftermarket parts for all makes and models.”
Espinosa, who will be staying on with the company, is looking forward to the future working alongside TPH. “We are excited about joining The Parts House team,” he says. “We welcome the resources, energy and innovation that TPH will bring.”
With this acquisition, TPH now has 48 locations in Florida, Georgia, Alabama and Puerto Rico.
TPH is a member of the Automotive Distribution Network (“Parts Plus”), a leading program distribution group that focuses on marketing, technology and purchasing. TPH is part of Marubeni Automotive Aftermarket Holdings, which also owns XL Parts out of Houston.
