The LODI Group, Monterrey, Mexico, announces Phase 2 of its consolidation plan for Automotive Technology Products (ATP).

On May 23, 2017, The LODI Group announced the formation of a new company, Automotive Technology Products following the acquisition of the assets of the former ATP, Inc.  “We wish to thank our customers, sales representatives and supply base for their patronage and loyalty through this transition to date. Phase 1 gave priority to rebuilding customer confidence and expediting efforts to restore service levels.  With those goals met and shipping at historic levels, it is now time to implement Phase 2,” stated LODI Officer and ATP President, Jorge Frias.

Since the acquisition, ATP has been shipping from the leased facility in Elk Grove Village, IL while moving some of the bulk storage and packaging functions to its sister company, Pioneer in Meridian, MS.

Phase 2 will complete the consolidation of ATP into the 220,000 square foot, LODI-owned facility and U.S. Headquarters in Meridian, MS.  In addition to warehouse operations, all sales, marketing, customer service and finance functions will be relocated as well.

“The plan is to make this transition as smooth as possible and without disruption in business. We will begin by building finished goods inventory in both locations immediately, then start shipping ATP products from both Meridian and the Elk Grove, IL warehouse prior to its eventual closing in November,” Frias was quoted as saying.  “The goal is to make this change seamless and as transparent as possible. The purpose of this early announcement is to keep our valued customers completely informed and provide the assurance that it will be business as usual during the move,” stated Jack Cameron, VP of Sales.

Questions should be directed to local sales representatives or by contacting the company directly.
