Join the Auto Care Association and California Automotive Warehouse Association (CAWA) for an informative Q&A webinar on the updated California Proposition 65 regulations set to go in effect this August. The webinar will take place on Tuesday, May 22, from 1 – 2:30 p.m. ET.

Enacted in 1986, California's Prop. 65 is intended to help Californians make decisions about protecting themselves from chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.

On Aug. 31, 2018, updated regulations will go into effect: The Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA), which administrates Prop. 65, has named 900+ chemicals including ingredients or additives in a variety of household products, food, pesticides and others, as caution-causing chemicals. The new protocols will require businesses to identify at least one listed chemical that could be encountered in their products.

The webinar will provide attendees with information on:

  • Why Prop. 65 matters to your business;
  • Warning regulations and requirements for manufacturers, retailers, brick and mortar as well as internet and catalog; and
  • The enforcement process and penalties.

Space is limited. Register here.

This webinar is presented by Kevin C. Mayer, Partner, Crowell & Moring LLP. Mayer is a partner and accomplished trial attorney with deep experience advocating on behalf of clients in a wide variety of complex product liability, mass tort, California Proposition 65 and OSHA lawsuits.
