Manufacturers, distributors, associations and repairers need to work together to try to keep counterfeit parts out of the aftermarket supply chain.

Bruce Adams, managing editor for Aftermarket Business World, wrote a blog, “Slowing counterfeit parts takes a joint automotive aftermarket industry effort.”

Counterfeit parts are a scourge on the automotive aftermarket that present a danger to the safety of the motoring public and an economic threat to the legitimate aftermarket manufacturers.
