The Automotive Distribution Network has named Mike Crockett the group’s director of information services, in charge of managing the day-to-day operations of the Network Information Services department.

“The Network portfolio now includes ecommerce, electronic order processing, business intelligence, central billing services, and product information management,” explains Tom Frey, the Network’s vice president of IT. “With several more opportunities for continued growth on the horizon, it became evident the Network needed more structure and organization to manage it all effectively. Mike brings the skills and experience to help us ensure that we continue to produce quality products and services while we continue to grow.”

In his new role, Crockett will also oversee the Network’s project management and content management teams, ensuring adherence to agreements and service levels by third-party providers. Specifically, he will be leading projects requiring multiple systems or engagement with multiple departments within the company.

“I plan to leverage my skills, experience and knowledge to help move the Network forward by enhancing solutions and helping increase market share,” Crockett says. “I have a proven track record of facilitating the achievement of business competitive advantage through the application of sound technical and procedural enhancements.”

Operating under the brands of Parts Plus, Parts Plus Mexico, IAPA and Auto Pride, the Automotive Distribution Network is one of the largest, most diverse program groups in the industry.
